Coal's Adoption

It’s safe to say the gig is up on coal, and at Zaku we know that coal is much more than a gig to history, but we feel it’s time to adopt newer language around coal. Coal has been one of if not the most impactful energy source to us and indeed is still a vital source today. The future of coal still exists and will still serve as an important access point for us to live our day to day lives, but as investments and policy lean more so towards a carbon free future, coal is inevitably impacted. Even today the times coal is mentioned is persuasion for its reduction. Our scientists believe that no, coal does have a more involved future then the talks imply. Coal is a known producer for electricity, making steel which is a fundamental building material, and food processing which are all reliable only if used at fixed amount relative to green technology and paired with the latest carbon removal technology (link). Coal was the fuel used for the steam engine, trains, and ships which were all huge reasons to why we are living amongst each other and cooperating as we are today, without it society will have to lost something important. At Zaku we want to pair the standing coal backed technology with carbon capture technology suited for the most up to date efficiency yet. We are certain we can do something about such a large industry overshadowed by the working of tomorrow, we believe we can help the world and the people living on it today.
